Natural Anodizing for high silicon level alloys
The anodic oxidation or natural anodizing for alloys with a high silicon level allows obtaining oxide formation through the passage of electricity within specific parameters in special tanks kept at room temperature:
- Growth of the superficial hardness (280 – 300 HV₀₀₅ according to internal specifications);
- Resistance to corrosion: over 720 hours in saline fogs;
- Improved adherence to follow up paintings;
- Moderate thermic isolation
From 2 to 15 µm according to initial alloy features and needs.
Dark Grey Colour.
Natural oxidation applies to high silicon levels alloys (die-casting alloys for earth and shell fusion).
